Dr Farideh Farshad

Dr Farideh Farshad trained as a dentist at the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, Sweden, renowned globally not only for its dental programme but also its clinical excellence and research.
Farideh has completed numerous post graduate courses in; aesthetic dentistry, cosmetic bonding, dental implantology, Six Month Smile aligners & clear braces and Invisalign as well as advanced training in facial aesthetics.
She has special interest in cosmetic bonding, rehabilitation of complex restorative cases and smile makeovers which require careful planning, attention to details. She is a keen advocate for continuous learning and personal development. She is involved with College in Birmingham for training and apprenticeship of the next generation of dental nurses.

Dr Gurwinder Singh Dhesi

Gurwinder is the Specialist Prosthodontist and Implantologist at our practice. This is a specialty dedicated to the replacement and restoration of teeth using all possible treatment modalities such as veneers, crowns, bridges, dentures and dental implants. He places and restores dental implants daily and his preferred system is Straumann, which is a premium worldwide implant brand. He is a member of the International Team of Implantologists (ITI).

Gurwinder graduated in 2012 from the University of Bristol. He then went onto gain Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties (MJDF) with the Royal College of Surgeons England in 2013. Following this, he worked at the Leeds General Infirmary in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, gaining experience in many surgical aspects of dentistry. After this, he spent time working in multiple practices across the UK for 3 years prior to starting his specialist training in 2017 in London. He has been awarded a Doctor of Clinical Dentistry (DClinDent) in Prosthodontics from Queen Mary University of London, a 3-year full – time course. Following this programme, he has proudly completed his specialist training in Prosthodontics and passed the prestigious Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh membership examinations.

Favourite Part Of The Job

My biggest interest is in the rehabilitation of patients who require extensive multidisciplinary dentistry. I take pride in utilising my specialist skill set to carry out treatments to the highest standard, in order to achieve long–term predictable outcomes. I have an eye for detail and will aim to address the cosmetic concerns relating to a patient’s smile as well as ensure the treatment is in harmony with the functional requirements of their dentition. I particularly enjoy treating anxious patients and slowly increasing their confidence in visiting the dentist by putting them at ease with my calm patient manner and communication skills.

Dental implants – to replace single or multiple missing teeth including full arch rehabilitations, sinus lifts and bone grafts. A large proportion of my work nowadays is treating failing implants and crown and bridge work.

Crowns, Bridges, and Veneers for single or multiple teeth including full mouth rehabilitations. Partial and complete dentures with and without implants. Surgical extractions including impacted wisdom teeth. Crown lengthening surgery.

Gulshan Rana

Hi, I’m Gulshan. I joined the Manor House Dental Team in 2018 and have been working as the Dental Hygienist/Therapist.
I originally studied at the University of Birmingham and graduated in 2013 and have stayed here since. I also undertook a year in foundation training with the West Midlands Deanery in 2014.
Outside of work, I’m very much into my sports whether it be watching or playing. I primarily play a lot of team sport but mostly enjoy playing hockey, tennis among other sports.

Dr Roxy Elledge

I qualified as a dentist from the University of Manchester in 2001 and have a strong surgical background in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. This experience has enriched my wider skill set, which includes aesthetic and cosmetic dentistry, smile design, implant dentistry, and managing complex medical and anxious patients with dental needs.

In addition to dentistry, I’m also a qualified GP, having completed my training in Birmingham in 2019. I currently work as a GP at Hall Green Medical Practice in Birmingham.

My approach to patient care is holistic, compassionate, and thorough. Whether I’m seeing someone for dental or medical concerns, I focus on clear diagnosis and thoughtful, tailored treatment.

I divide my time between dental and general medical practice, and when I’m not working, I enjoy raising my young family, catching up with friends, and getting out for a run. I recently took part in the Birmingham Half Marathon and the Crowle 10K.
